The Firm
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded, boutique law firm based in London. With a strong reputation for professionalism and client care, the firm is now seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its finance team.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Cashier to take on a broad and varied role within a respected legal practice. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant cashiering services while also supporting wider financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day client and office account transactions in line with SRA Accounts Rules
Processing client receipts, payments, transfers and reconciliations
Ensuring accurate posting of all financial transactions to the firm's accounting systems
Conducting regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports and financial analysis
Supporting budgeting processes and contributing to financial controls and improvements
Assisting with payroll preparation, maintaining accurate records and liaising with external providers
Monitoring the financial aspects of client matters, including billing, costs and estimates
Supporting credit control activities and tracking outstanding debts
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records linked to client matters
