Plumber - Overview

Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd are working with one of the UK's largest Energy Management companies in the UK with over 30 years experience maintaining District Heating Schemes in Glasgow & surrounding areas. They are looking to grow their HIU Engineering team in Glasgow and are looking for a Plumber with experience working in domestic properties to train up and work on the maintenance and repair of Heat Interface Unit systems.

Day to day you will cover your local patch, travelling to residential sites to service and maintain Heat Interface Units. You will be given full training on how to fault find on HIU's, how to repair, replace parts and also learn to trace back to the main District Heating Plant Rooms to carry out maintenance there if that is causing the main issue. The role will be based in and around Glasgow area only.

Plumber - Requirements

* 2-3 years experience on Heat Interface Units servicing and breakdown

* Experience in Plant Rooms, District Heating or Energy Centres would be advantageous

* Relevant industry qualifications - City & Guilds/ NVQ level 3 in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Gas engineering

* Full UK Driving Licence

Plumber - Salary & Remuneration

* Basic Salary up to £40,000

* Travel Pay (minus 30 minutes each way)
