Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be recruiting a Business Finance Analyst for a well-established international business based in Rotherham.

This is a newly created role, offering the chance to really make it your own. Working closely with senior management and stakeholders, you’ll provide financial analysis and insight to support decision-making across multiple European entities, while also driving process improvements and efficiencies.

The Role:

The Business Finance Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, accurate reporting, and supporting both day-to-day and strategic business decisions. You’ll also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement projects, with the opportunity to influence processes and workflows across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis against budget and forecast to support management decisions
• Reviewing monthly performance of each region against budget and previous year to identify overspends and cost-saving opportunities
• Monthly data reporting for the senior management team
• Performing ad-hoc analysis and assignments as required
• Partnering with other departments on finance-related matters to improve processes and policies
• Assisting with production of annual budgets and profit and loss forecasts

About You:

• QBE, Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
• Strong analytical skills and Excel ability
• Comfortable working with large data sets and multiple stakeholders
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
