Salary: £26000 - £32000, 33 days Holiday, company bonus.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Support Engineer to join a well-established Manufacturing organisation based in Horncastle .

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of IT support across all aspects of the business, ensuring that any IT related issues are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. This role will involve working closely with the IT Manager to provide technical support to the entire organisation, and will include providing advice and guidance to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and troubleshooting for all IT related issues

* Install, configure and maintain hardware, software and network systems

* Monitor, diagnose and resolve technical problems

* Liaise with 3rd party vendors and suppliers to resolve hardware/software issues

* Maintain accurate records of hardware and software installations

* Ensure all IT systems are functioning properly and are secure

* Provide technical support and advice to end-users

* Assist with the planning and implementation of IT projects

* Assist with the development and maintenance of IT policies and procedures

* Proactively identify and resolve potential problems

* Assist with the maintenance of IT security and compliance

* Ensure all IT systems are up to date and patched

* Provide on-call support for out of hours support

Technical Skills Required:

* Proven experience working within an IT support role

* Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Good working knowledge of Windows systems

* Experience of Microsoft Office Suite

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Knowledge of IT security and compliance

* Knowledge of network systems and protocols
