We are working with a highly respected steel and architectural metalwork contractor in Buckinghamshire who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an Estimator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, long-standing company delivering structural steel and bespoke metalwork packages across commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.

The Role:

Preparing detailed and competitive estimates for structural steel and metalwork packages

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

Conducting material take-offs and labour cost assessments

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations

Supporting the handover to commercial and project delivery teams

About You:

Previous estimating experience within steel, metalwork, or a related construction discipline

Strong technical understanding and ability to read drawings

Commercial awareness and attention to detail

Organised, proactive, and confident communicator

Exposure to the commercial side of projects - including cost control, procurement, contract awareness, or supporting QS teams - would be a serious advantage.
