Warehouse Operations ManagerUp to £55,000Rotherham, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Group are searching for a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of a cutting-edge warehousing and distribution facility based in Rotherham. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient handling, processing, and distribution of goods. You'll oversee a team, collaborating with various departments to meet customer demands promptly. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategise and supervise all aspects of distribution centre operations, encompassing receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
• Introduce and execute processes to maximize efficiency, drawing from LEAN and TIMWOODS methodologies
• Monitor inventory levels closely, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations while implementing performance metrics for accuracy and on-time delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally to uphold high customer satisfaction levels and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, offering clear direction and constructive feedback
• Evaluate performance against objectives, adjusting strategies as needed
• Develop and implement training initiatives to ensure adherence to regulations and policies
• Establish robust inventory management protocols, including proper storage, labelling, and tracking
• Conduct thorough internal audits to maintain accurate inventory records and address any discrepancies promptly
• Continuously optimise stock levels based on sales data analysis
• Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Implement a comprehensive quality assurance system, refining procedures as necessary
• Regularly review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures to maintain consistency and align with quality standards.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Previous managerial experience in warehouse operations
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control
• Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory guidelines
• Proficiency in basic computer software; experience with SAP (ByDesign and/or S4 HANA) preferred
