EYFS Teaching Assistant - Whitefield (M45)

Location: Whitefield, Bury, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a caring and motivated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Whitefield (M45). This full-time role involves supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and helping to create a stimulating environment that supports early learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in delivering EYFS learning activities.
* Support children with phonics, early reading, and number skills.
* Encourage independence and confidence through play-based learning.
* Help prepare and organise classroom resources and activities.
* Support pupils during transitions, group activities, and outdoor learning.

Ideal Candidate
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated).
* Experience supporting pupils in EYFS is desirable.
* Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
