As a member of our Consulting team, you understand our customers’ most pressing business performance challenges and you are committed to helping our customers solve complex challenges in the distributed value chain that is prevalent in manufacturing today. Working with new and existing customers, you will provide expert guidance in leveraging our product offerings and deliver value. As a Solution Consultant, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Consultative Skills - as the client’s trusted advisor, provide functional supply chain subject matter expertise as they relate to the RapidResponse® capabilities and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills by delivering creative solutions that address critical business requirements.
Leadership Skills - as critical member of the project team, be comfortable with taking ownership in achieving goals and objective as well as identifying problems and shepherding them towards resolution while mentoring or coaching members of the project team.
Teamwork Skills - ability to collaborate and problem-solve with members of the project team, flexible and agile in responding to the fluidity of any given system implementation and communicate well to all constituents regardless of level in the project team.
Technical Skills - possesses relevant tools and technology knowledge including relational database and practical experience with database query as well as conceptual knowledge of supply chain management including but not limited to activities required to plan, control and execute product flow.
What You’ll Do
Configure the RapidResponse interface according to our customers distinct needs as defined within the Agile user stories and blueprint designs. Working with the Solution Architect and the client, translate the client’s business requirement into RapidResponse’s analytics capabilities.
Mapping, loading, transforming, and validating data required to support our customer’s unique system landscapes.
Provide creative solutions to complex business problems while leveraging industry best practices. Using database queries and designing interface requirements are critical expertise to success with this position.
Support the Solution Architect during deployment workshops as an active participant to help customers achieve immediate value from their investment.
Work closely with Kinaxis Solution Architect and Solution Consultant to develop a business process design that leverages RapidResponse capabilities.
Provide high levels of customer service while gaining confidence by demonstrating full understanding of business requirements matched against RapidResponse® capabilities.
Things You Should Have
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production planning, demand management, and/or business software consulting
A post-secondary degree in a related discipline
Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, OWB, SSIS, SAP Data Services or equivalent
Detailed knowledge of functional supply chain solutions such as ERP/MRP, sales and sperations planning, demand planning, aggregated supply planning, order fulfilment, capacity planning, inventory management, and managing planning activities with distributors and contract manufacturers
Demonstrated experience in software consulting, implementation or development projects
Experience working with relational databases, Java script, and database query tools
Understanding of the solution development life cycle, including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, time management and customer relationship skills
Ability to work virtual but the consultant should plan for up to 70% travel
