Automotive Technician

We are working with a Premium Main Dealership in Cardiff & Merthyr Tydfil who are looking for an additional technician to join their great team.

* You will be part of a team achieving total customer satisfaction

* You will accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and service of motor vehicles

* You will be able to detect and diagnose any additional work required

* You will carry out work in a safe manner, complying with retailer and manufacturer industry guidelines.

* You will complete relevant service documentation (job sheets, PDI's, Service reports) in line with warranty and dealership requirements.

* You will ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.

* Work with other workshop and dealership colleagues to provide excellent customer service, share best practice when appropriate.

In order to be successful for this position, you will:

* Have NVQ level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or equivalent.

* Have previous experience in a similar role

* MOT trained would be desirable but not essential.

* Be organised and have a good attention to detail

* Be able to work as part of a team in a busy environment

* Be efficient and competent at fault finding

* You must have a full, clean driving licence
