This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving European growth within a small yet ambitious and purpose-led company. Our client is seeking someone with proven experience in electrification or motor drives, coupled with a strong network across Europe—particularly in Germany or Sweden.

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead business development efforts across Europe, with a strong focus on Germany and Sweden.

* Travel extensively to meet customers, attend exhibitions, and represent AEM at key industry events.

* Build and manage strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and commercial vehicle manufacturers.

* Use market intelligence to shape product development and align with AEM's strategic vision.

* Identify emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics to keep AEM ahead of the curve.

* Speak a second European language—German preferred—to support relationship-building and market penetration.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in electric motors, transmissions, or related technologies.

* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages.

* Experience working in ISO9001 environments and managing commercial processes.

* A track record of selling into automotive or commercial vehicle sectors, including negotiating supply agreements.

* Fluency in a second European language is essential.
