? Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
?? Sleep-ins: 5 per month (paid at £60 per sleep-in)
? Hours: #removed# hours per month
? Shift Pattern: 2 on, 4 off
? Qualification: NVQ Level 4 or above in Children & Young People

Are you an experienced and passionate care professional looking to step into a leadership role in a nurturing and supportive children's residential setting?

We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager to join a well-established children's home in Preston, supporting children and young people with complex needs and helping them to thrive in a safe, homely environment.

? Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.

Lead, mentor and develop a team of residential support workers.

Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained at all times.

Build strong, positive relationships with young people, staff, families, and external professionals.

Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and behavioural strategies.

Support Ofsted requirements and help maintain or improve the home's rating.

? Requirements:
NVQ Level 4 or higher in Children & Young People (or equivalent).

Proven experience working in a residential children's home, ideally in a supervisory or senior role.

Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and children's legislation.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Competitive hourly rate of £15 - £16 per hour depending on experience.

Additional sleep-in payments of £60 per night (5 per month).
