An exciting opportunity has opened up within one of the UK's market leaders in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of pumping systems. We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Workshop Engineer to join our busy and fast-paced repairs team based in Woore, Cheshire.

You'll be part of a close-knit, supportive engineering team where your hands-on skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, repair, and assemble pumps and related mechanical equipment

*

Conduct equipment testing and performance diagnostics

*

Produce clear and accurate service reports, quotations, and documentation

*

Support customers and suppliers with technical queries

*

Collaborate with your team to resolve technical issues and share knowledge

*

Keep your work area safe, clean, and efficient

*

Manage your own workload while maintaining exceptional customer service

*

Uphold and improve existing company procedures and workshop standards

Who We're Looking For:

Essential:

*

Level 3 or higher qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

*

At least 3 years' experience in a similar hands-on workshop role

*

Electrically competent and comfortable with technical fault finding

*

Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings

*

Good working knowledge of pumps, motors, and mechanical systems

*

Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard workshop documentation

*

Strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

Desirable:

*

CSCS card or First Aid training

*

Previous experience in pump/motor maintenance or field service

*

Knowledge of pump industry standards and workshop safety protocols
