Are you caring, patient and passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential? Our welcoming Special Needs School in Cheetham Hill is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

We are a nurturing and inclusive school supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs, and moderate to complex learning difficulties. Our staff work closely together to create a warm, safe and inspiring learning environment.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, personalised learning activities.

• Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs and independence skills.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

• Help create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in working with children or young people (SEND experience is desirable but not essential).

• Patient, resilient and committed to helping every child succeed.

• A great communicator who can work well within a team.

• Calm, trustworthy and able to follow guidance from teaching staff and therapists.

• A friendly, collaborative and supportive staff team.
