We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join one of London's most exciting construction groups. This role will provide you exposure to the end-to-end AP and AR reporting cycle, providing exposure to the month-end cycle.

Description

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports efficiently and accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for audits.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience within the construction industry highly desirable.
• Previous experience using COINS highly desirable.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
