I'm working with a long-established engineering business in Chester that's looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a key role supporting major projects, process improvement, and lean initiatives within a heavy manufacturing environment.

The Role:

* Delivering manufacturing and capital projects from concept to commissioning

* Improving and creating manufacturing instructions and tooling solutions

* Driving lean initiatives including 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement

* Supporting root cause analysis (PFMEA) and reduction of NCRs

* Working closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams

* Liaising with equipment vendors and external contractors when needed

About You:

* HNC/HND or above in an engineering discipline

* Proven background in manufacturing/process/project engineering

* Confident with lean tools, root cause techniques, and tooling knowledge

* Able to read and interpret technical drawings

* Strong communicator with the ability to drive projects forward

What's on offer

* Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm

* Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm

* 5 weeks holidays per year, plus bank holidays
