About the Role:
TeacherActive are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Bristol, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and students to support learning in the classroom, provide 1:1 or small group interventions, and help students overcome barriers to their progress. You will play a key role in promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to students to help them access the curriculum

Work 1:1 or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions

Support students with additional learning, emotional, or behavioural needs

Assist teachers with classroom management and resource preparation

Contribute to creating a positive, supportive learning atmosphere

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting

Be patient, adaptable, and encouraging

Have a passion for education and helping students succeed

Be confident supporting pupils who may need additional guidance

Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
