About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Operator with an essential HGV Class 2 licence to join our team in Cambridge. This role will primarily involve operating a line pump from an open transit vehicle to deliver concrete to both domestic and commercial sites, with a focus on domestic projects. On days when concrete pump deliveries are not scheduled, you will be required to operate a Class 2 mixer lorry to transport concrete, adding variety to your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate line pumps to transport and pour concrete at both domestic and commercial sites.

· Perform pre-operation checks and regular inspections on equipment, including pipelines.

· Set up pipelines and monitor the concrete flow during pumping to ensure consistent quality.

· Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

· Conduct routine maintenance and ensure equipment is in good working condition.

· Operate the mixer lorry when required (HGV Class 2 licence essential).

· Requirements:

· HGV Class 2 licence is essential.

· Previous experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or in a similar role is preferred.

· Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.

· Strong knowledge of concrete pumps and pipeline setups.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Willingness to undertake a 1-day training session.

Experience in site preparation is advantageous but not essential
