Remote Family Solicitor (Legal Aid) and (Childcare)

Are you an experienced Family Solicitor looking for a fully remote (except hearings), flexible opportunity with a small but specialist law firm. 

A rare and exciting role has become available with a respected firm based in Telford, offering home working from day one with occasional court coverage across the West Midlands (including Stoke, Stafford and Wolverhampton).

About the Firm:

This boutique Telford-based law firm is known for delivering high-quality family law services, currently supported by a close-knit team including an experienced Family Solicitor and 3 paralegals currently - with three due to join. 

The firm specialises in Legal Aid family law but our client is open to seeing a Family Solicitor who can undertake Legal Aid plus Childcare work.

Your Role:

As a Remote Family Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload, including public family law matters, with a current emphasis on Legal Aid. The role offers a high level of autonomy, ideal for someone confident in independently managing cases while contributing to the growth of the firm's childcare department.

Requirements:

At least 3 years' experience as a qualified Family Solicitor (Resolution Accredited) with an ability to immediately take on public family law matters. 

You must possess a strong ability to work independently in a remote environment and proven experience managing a diverse family law caseload. You will be self-motivated with excellent networking and business development skills and be

proficient in using legal technology and case management systems What's on
