Our client based in Loughborough are looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer on a full time permanant bases.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop electronic solutions that successfully meet with the overall product requirements.

The Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer will work as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team liaising internally with software and mechanical engineers to ensure that the products are designed in a cohesive manner to the highest possible level of quality, as these products are sold to Blue Chip customers around the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Analogue and digital circuit design and analysis
RF circuit design. Proficiency with Altium preferred
Undertaking detailed component research, evaluation and selection Schematic capture and PCB Layout design
Design for EMC
Developing testing methods for electronic products
Managing a small team and distribution of tasks to other engineers and production staff Taking new designs from prototype through to volume production
Reliability and regulatory testing of products (EMC, electrical safety), including submissions to external regulatory bodies
Investigation of field and production issues and implementation of corrective actions
Collaborate with product management to provide technical input and guidance for roadmap decisions and implement the results
Perform any other duties as deemed necessary for product management.
