We're working with a well-established engineering consultancy, known for its creative approach to structural and civil engineering, to recruit an experienced and motivated Administrator to join their supportive team in Edinburgh.

About the Role:

This is a key administrative role supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic and technically skilled team. You'll be involved in a wide range of administrative duties that help ensure smooth internal processes and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support across the office, including document preparation, formatting reports, and managing correspondence

Assist with project documentation and tracking deadlines

Maintain and update internal systems and databases

Organise meetings, book travel, and manage office supplies

Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams in a professional and efficient manner

Support onboarding for new team members and assist with internal communications

About You:

Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a professional services or technical environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail

Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Comfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritising effectively

Friendly, approachable, and a genuine team player
