HGV Technician Coventry £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per yearAfternoonsWe are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our dynamic team.Job Summary: As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. You will work a 40 - 45 hour week. Late shift. 12:00-22:00. Monday to Friday. Weekends optional.Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HGVs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Conduct engine repairs, gearbox repairs, and other complex tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
