Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their CP/CIN Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Manage a diverse caseload of CIN, CP, and pre-proceedings cases, completing timely statutory visits, assessments, and direct work with children and families.
- Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 assessments, ensuring risks are clearly analysed and safety plans are robust and proportionate.
- Develop and implement child-centred plans that promote safety, stability, and positive change within families.
- Lead core groups, CIN meetings, and multi-agency planning, ensuring effective information sharing and coordinated partnership working.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and young people, ensuring their voices, wishes, and feelings inform all decision-making.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support families to reduce risks and strengthen parenting capacity.
- Prepare high-quality reports and case documentation for meetings, Child Protection Conferences, and, where necessary, court proceedings.
- Maintain accurate, timely case records and demonstrate reflective, accountable practice in line with legislation, local procedures, and professional standards.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
