Packing Operative

£12.21 per hour/ £25,396.80 per annum (from 1st April, an increase to £12.71/ £26,436.80)

Monday – Friday, working 9:30am – 6pm (40 hours per week). No weekends.

Brackmills, Northampton.

Match Recruitment are working in partnership with their client based in Brackmills. This is a hands-on, physical role. You’ll be on your feet, moving around, and not sat at a desk. You’ll need to be comfortable lifting parcels, handling ice packs, and staying active throughout your shift.

This isn’t your typical warehouse – you’ll be part of a medium-sized pharmacy team. It’s not a Community Pharmacy, so you won’t be dealing with customers. You’ll be packing and sealing boxes in both ambient and refrigerated areas.

Summary of what your role will look like:

• Packing and sealing boxes in both ambient and refrigerated areas.
• Keep a steady supply of boxes, moving them to and from the warehouse as needed.
• Use a pump truck to move deliveries for loading onto the van at the end of the day.
• Complete order reconciliation logs accurately.
• Stand for long periods.
• Handle ice packs and lift parcels up to 7 kg.
