We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our clients' high performing team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the business.

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you will lead the month-end close process and deliver insightful management accounts that support strategic decision-making. You'll take ownership of key financial processes including:

• Month-end reporting and journal preparation
• Management accounting and variance analysis
• VAT returns, including exposure to complex VAT scenarios
• Stock accounting and inventory valuation
• Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
• Team leadership and development of junior finance staff

This is a hands-on role where your ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking will be key.

What We're Looking For:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Strong experience in month-end reporting and management accountsConfident with balance sheet reconciliations and financial controlsExcellent communication and leadership skillsProactive, analytical, and solutions-focused mindsetDesirable (but not essential):

Experience in a manufacturing or goods-in/goods-out environmentKnowledge of complex VAT scenariosFamiliarity with ERP systems and stock management processes

Hybrid working - 3 days office 2 homeParking Salary £65,000 plus benefits 37.5 hours - hours flex around 7.30am - 5.30pm - finish at 1pm on a Friday
