WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE - TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT

Hours

• Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5:30pm
• Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm
• 1-hour lunch break (half hour Friday)

Job Description

• Reporting to the Production and Procurement Manager
• Signing for, unloading, booking in and putting away ‘Goods-In’
• Providing support to despatch to ensure customer deadlines are met
• Using the companies SAP Business One software system for: Goods receipt
• Goods despatch
• Ensuring the items are packed securely and safely and despatched together with the

appropriate paperwork

• Reporting out of stock items to sales administration
• Updating and maintaining stock locations in the warehouse and on SAP
• Conducting stock takes and updating SAP accordingly
• General maintenance and upkeep of the outside areas of the building

Person Spec

• Self-starter
• Good at prioritising workload
• Confident and organised
• Working to a high standard
• Builds and maintains relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
• Flexible and willing to help out to get tasks done as required
• Counterbalance forklift licence
• IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,Web
• Willing and able to learn SAP Business One and carrier systems
