Location:  Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Hours: 40 per week, 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £32,500

Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for mechanical assembly and installation of components on industrial water treatment systems.
This role also includes leading a 3-man team of mechanical fitters, to fit and align pumps, valves, brackets, gauges, and other mechanical elements on large industrial machinery.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical fitting skills, a high level of precision, and a proactive approach to quality and safety.
Mechanical Fitter Skills and Experience

Mechanical fitting experience, preferably with industrial machinery or water treatment systems
Familiarity with ABS/PVC-U assemblies an advantage
Ability to lead a small team of fitters to meet deadlines efficiently
Comfortable in a dynamic and busy workshop environment
