Special Educational Needs Residential Team Leader Required in Ross-On-Wye Immediately!
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for SEND Team Leader / Special Educational Needs Team Leader for a residential home for young people in Ross-On-Wye.
The provisions cater for is for young people who have emotional behavioural difficulties, challenging behaviour and other needs. The post requires talented SEND Team Leader / Special Educational Needs Team Leader who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting and caring for young people with educational needs.
To work in this setting, you MUST;
- Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Have previous experience running a team of support workers in a residential home setting
- Be comfortable providing personal care
- Have experience working in special needs or care settings
- Able to be flexible with shifts, there is the prospect of longer days during school holidays as well as waking night shifts
The role will include working 1:1 with residents and supporting them during their day before and after classes. This will include waking them and putting them to bed and supervising mealtimes. The job role will also require the candidate to work hours in the office in support of the Home Manager.
You will be part of a great team and able to chaperone on some great days out with the residents.
