HGV Technician – Straight Day ShiftsLocation: OxfordSalary: £42,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday – Straight Day ShiftsCompany: Leading Fleet Services ProviderThe Opportunity A well-established and respected fleet company in Oxford is looking to hire an experienced HGV Technician to join their professional workshop team. This is a full-time, permanent position working straight day shifts with a competitive salary of £42,000.You’ll be working on a modern, well-maintained fleet in a clean and fully equipped workshop environment, with ongoing support and career development opportunities.Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of HGVs in line with DVSA standards
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with all safety and legal requirements
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the fleet remains operational and safe

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 licence advantageous but not essential)
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
