Key - Health are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager for a children's residential service in Kent. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to manage a home supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. If you're a Deputy Manager with experience in children's residential care, this could be your chance to step into a Registered Manager position.

You will lead a dedicated team to ensure high standards of care, compliance with OFSTED regulations, and positive outcomes for the young people in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with OFSTED standards and regulations.

*

Lead, manage, and develop a team of care staff, promoting professional growth and continuous learning.

*

Implement, review, and update care plans for each child, ensuring a personalised, child-centred approach.

*

Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and any concerns are addressed swiftly.

*

Foster strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals to support positive outcomes.

*

Maintain high standards of health and safety, risk management, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

*

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.

*

Minimum 2 years' experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a GOOD rating.

*

Experienced Deputy Managers in children's residential care are encouraged to apply, provided you have leadership experience and a passion for developing young people.

*

Strong understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and experience supporting children with challenging behaviours.

*

Knowledge of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding practices, and relevant legislation (Children's Act 1989 & 2004).

*

A compassionate and resilient leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Full UK driving licence is required.
