£60,000 - £70,000 + Private medical + Life Assurance + Enhanced pension + 25 days holiday (+ 8 Bank Holidays) increasing with length of service

Excellent opportunity for a Helpdesk manager with strong people management skills to join a thriving Connectivity as a service and Networking services provider.

This company are a well-established IT service provider with 20 years in the industry, renowned for their high level and complex Infrastructure, Networking, Security and Connectivity solutions. They work closely with emergency services and healthcare providers, ensuring optimal network availability and performance where it is needed the most.

In this role you will ensure your team has the correct processes, systems and tools in place to do their job effectively and with a high quality of service. You will be responsible for regular performance and system reviews investigating issues and creating solutions for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams to deliver technical support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and Security services to resolve incidents and support change projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Helpdesk Manager to evolve the business and lead a team of highly skilled technical engineers in a thriving technology solutions and services provider.

The Role:
*Managing a team of 20 Helpdesk Engineers ensuring high levels of customer service
*Achieve objectives through good time management & incident prioritisation
*Weekly reviews of team performance against skill and volume
*Working as a point of escalation for customers and the technical support team when needed
*Office based 5 days a week (4 days per week after probation)
*Permanent, full-time, working 37.5 hours
*Flexible core hours (between 8am-6pm)

The Person:
*Willingness to undergo BPSS & SC clearance is required
*Experience overseeing teams of Helpdesk engineers & Strong people management skills
*Experience and understanding of WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security
*Experience working with an MSP / ISP /IT Consultancy or Telecommunications experience is desirable
*Understanding and qualifications in ITIL
