Role: Workshop Engineer

Location: Bedford

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Workshop Engineer to join a leading business in Bedford.

Role summary:

• Installing and commissioning bespoke machines, sub-assemblies and components into customer facilities
• Supporting customers remotely, attending site for breakdown, repair, service and support
• Provide feedback to design engineers for improvements and modifications and any updates to drawings and instructions when changes are made
• Assembly and testing of machines
• General workshop duties as required

This job role can be very varied between time spent in the workshop and time spent on site with customers depending on work requirements.  Applicants must not expect a 100% service role

What we would like from you:

• A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and an understanding of both

• Certificate or Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering

• Good communication skills
• Motivated
• Adaptable
• Willingness to complete jobs outside of the job role
• Team player
