What you'll be doing
As a Highways Engineer, you will be exposed to all elements of the business from project and client management, through to technical delivery working across the design teams. Owing to a robust pipeline of projects, they are looking for an ambitious engineer with some design experience to join the team. 

In short you will

Prepare, design, plan, programme and order works and services.
Assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes or services.
Ensure the team's performance in providing speedy and courteous responses to queries and complaints is in accordance with relevant targets and standards.
Aid the Team Leader or Senior Engineer in relation to all aspects covered within the group and deputise in their absence.
Ensure strong budgetary control and financial management is undertaken throughout areas of responsibility.A bit about you
Alongside a willingness to join the team and get stuck in, the successful Highways Engineer will need to embody the company's core values of cooperation and partnership. Furthermore, you should have: 

Sound technical ability and experience in designing highway or public realm schemes  
The ability to integrate into a team and liaise with clients and stakeholders  
A demonstrable appetite for learning and developing your career further  
Competency with Microsoft Office and Autodesk Civil 3D 
HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering You will be joining a team that will support you in growing your career in a way that suits you, whether that is making the best of your skills in a role you enjoy or developing new skills as you progress with our company.
