Role Overview:

We seek a passionate and skilled D.T teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. You'll be responsible for inspiring students, developing their practical and technical skills, and ensuring their academic growth. You will also maintain a safe and well-equipped workshop, while collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach D.T across Key Stage 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both theory and practical aspects.

• Manage and maintain practical workshops safely.

• Differentiate lessons to support all student needs.

• Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation.

• Foster a passion for D.T in students, encouraging future pathways in the subject.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of the D.T curriculum (GCSE/BTEC).

• Experience in teaching both practical and theory-based lessons.

• Ability to inspire and engage students.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
