Production Supervisor (Electronic Manufacturing Services)

Salary: £40,000.00 - £60,000.00 per year, depending on experience

Our client is seeking a skilled and leadership-focused Production Supervisor with a robust background in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS). Due to business expansion, they require a strategic leader who can exceed basic supervision and drive cultural and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Production Supervisor:

* Oversee daily electronic assembly and manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

* Plan and monitor complex production schedules to meet delivery targets.

* Analyse production data to improve efficiency and quality, employing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

* Ensure all products meet stringent electrical quality standards and health and safety regulations.

* Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

* Manage specialised manufacturing equipment to ensure it is maintained and operational.

* Monitor stock levels and work with procurement to address electronic component lead times.

Requirements Production Supervisor:

* Significant experience in an EMS or electrical manufacturing environment.

* Proven leadership in supervising or managing teams, with a focus on team development.

* Technical knowledge in PCB assembly and precision manufacturing processes.

* Practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements using production data.

* Strong communication skills for addressing technical issues with both floor staff and management.

* A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.Sc) is desirable.

* Experience in customer management is beneficial.
