An excellent opportunity has arisen for a EHC Officer within a Greater Manchester based Local Authority to support the Assessment and Review service as an EHC Officer. Reporting to the Service Manager for SEND you will be responsible for writing and amending Education, Health and Care plans for children and young people of the community ensuring positive outcomes and best practice.
You will work towards key deliverables within statutory deadlines, ultimately adhering to statutory legislation such as SEN Code of Practice (2001) and Children and Families Acts (2014). 

Requirement: EHC Officer

Contribute to the day-to-day function of the Assessment and Review Service
Must hold plan writing and making plan amendments
Whilst there will be no specific case load allocation, you will be expected to case work the new plans and amendments you are working on 
To be considered for the role of EHC Officer, you must have a proven track record working within this role, in a local authority setting. You must also hold a valid Enhanced DBS clearance.
5 days per week, ideally must work 2-3 days on site however may accommodate remote where possible and appropriate.
Start date: ASAP - 6 months initially possibility to extend thereafter.
