Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a project based in Braintree, Essex. This is a freelance role offering £450-£500 per day, with an expected duration of 8-10 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and issuing RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)

*

Client liaison, maintaining clear communication and progress updates

*

Managing the project programme and coordinating site activities

*

Supervising subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations

*

Monitoring progress and resolving site issues as they arise

*

Maintaining site documentation and reporting

Working Hours:

*

Monday - Thursday: Full day

*

Friday: Half day on site (paid as a full day)

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager

*

Strong knowledge of RAMS and health & safety procedures

*

Excellent client-facing and communication skills

*

Ability to manage programme and coordinate trades effectively

*

Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred

*

NG Persons ticket would be beneficial but is not essential
