Director of Maths - Ilford

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Maths to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Ilford on a permanent basis. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Maths who can lead a high-performing department, drive standards, and inspire outstanding teaching and learning across KS3-KS5. Role Details:

Start date: ASAP (or negotiable)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £50,000-£72,000 (depending on experience and leadership scale)

Full-time position

Leading Maths across KS3-KS5

What the role involves:

Strategic leadership of the Maths department

Supporting, developing and line-managing Maths teachers

Overseeing curriculum, assessment, and raising attainment

Ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages

Contributing to whole-school improvement and leadership initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
