We are currently recruiting a Lift Compliance Manager to join us, responsible for our lift portfolio and the management of contractors.

Duties include:
- Management of our lift portfolio and ensuring compliance with current industry standards and regulation.
- Manage contractors in the delivery of lift safety servicing and maintenance programmes.
- Ensure effective undertaking of LOLER and PUWER Regulations.
- Effectively monitor and inspect lift safety related works and ensure compliance with contract, regulation and best practice.
- Conduct incidents investigations into lift compliance failures, ensuring actions are taken in accordance with current guidance.
- Ensure effective audit processes for lift management.
- Ensure high levels of performance in respect of lift management.
- Prepare performance reports and drive a property and customer safe culture.
- Support Compliance and Asset colleagues and provide specialist advice in respect of lift management.
- Manage Lift consultants and work closely with them to prepare tender specifications and procure services.
- Processing orders and management of invoicing
- Deal with customer enquiries/complaints and take oversight of responses and actions
Requirements
- LEIA Practical Management of a Lift/Escalator Contract, EOR202 Basic Lift Safety, IOSH Managing Safely course (or equivalent), or relevant industry experience to ensure lift safety programmes are managed effectively.
- Experience of managing lift safety and the delivery of compliance related programmes (experience in a Social Housing setting would be advantageous).
- Knowledge of LOLER 1998 Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment regulations 1998. (PUWER)
- Fully qualified supporting delivery of a high performing lift safety function.
- Experience of delivering a customer focused and risk averse compliance service.
- Able to write performance reports and track KPI's.
- Experience of working with and supporting contractors in the delivery of compliance activity.
- Excellent communication and customer centric skills.
- Experience using all Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
