Quality & Compliance Officer (12 Month Fixed Term Contract with potential to extend)

Location: Hybrid Opportunity

Hours: Part Time 22.5hrs per week

Salary: £34,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time hours), DOE

Are you an experienced compliance professional with a background in apprenticeships and government funded training? Our client is an established Independent Training Provider (ITP) seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to join their team on a part-time, 12 month fixed-term basis.with the possibility for this to be extended..

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking ITP with a strong track record in compliance, learner engagement, and positive outcomes.

This role plays a key part in maintaining their commitment to excellence in training delivery, DFE compliance, and learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and support subcontracted delivery to ensure compliance with funding rules and internal quality standards.

Maintain strong working relationships with employers, learners, delivery partners and internal teams.

Provide clear, practical information and guidance to staff and partners on DFE and Ofsted requirements.

Track and analyse compliance data to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement.

Carry out audits and support continuous improvement planning across the provision.

Travel to partner or employer sites throughout Kent and Medway (expenses reimbursed).

Complete Onboarding and Off Rolling paperwork in conjunction with Learners and Employers.

Assist with Regulatory requirements such as input into external assurance processes.

Person Profile:

Proven experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or contract management role within an ITP or similar provider.

Solid understanding of DFE funding rules, ILR requirements, and Ofsted EIF & Subcontractor Rules.

Excellent communication, relationship management and reporting skills.

Confidence working autonomously with a solution-focused approach and keen attention to detail.

Experience with platforms such as OneFile, Moodle, PICS/OneAdvanced or similar (desirable but not essential).
