Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location- Wrexham

Shifts- 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)

Salary- £50,000

ATA are working with a client who are in the FMCG industry, with their constant growth and opportunities they're looking for a maintenance engineer to join their ranks. Could this be you?

The Role of The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Responding to reactive breakdowns.
• Fault finding, problem solving and repair on manufacturing/production machinery to maximize plant reliability and performance
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of electrical plant equipment and components.
• Provide on shift electrical support to our maintenance/engineering team.
• General site electrical facilities maintenance including lighting checks and repairs, minor installation work, repair of electrical appliances and equipment.
• Monitor and control electrical spares.

Requirements Of The Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
• NVQ 3 in Mechanical or Electrical, if mechanical qualification you need to be competent electrically.
• Previous Industrial experience is essential.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and technical manuals
• Proficient in fault finding and diagnostics on a range of automated electrical systems including PLC logic (ideally Siemens but not essential), inverter drives, 3 phase motors and control systems.
