BDS are currently recruiting for a Retirement Housing Co-Ordinator in Morecambe for 10 - 15 hours per week over 2 or 3 days.

The post will be based at a retirement complex for older adults who live independently. We are looking for someone with a friendly and happy demeanour to be the first point of contact for the residents of the service.

Duration - 3-4 months initially with the option to apply on a permanent basis later in the year.

Salary- £15.49ph PAYE plus holiday pay

Main duties

* Speaking with the residents daily

* Signposting information on other services, in and around the area.

* Checking the property for any repairs and reporting these as required,

* Liaising with contractors

Experience in housing, support of older adults would be an advantage though not essential. Experience in a front facing customer position would be ideal and you will have good PC skills, be approachable and have good organisation skills. Full training will be provided and there will be a buddy manager to work with from a neighbouring scheme.

An enhanced DBS will be required.
