People Advisor
Location: Leicester Centre 
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Fixed term - 12 months

SF Recruitment are partnering with a fast-paced, well-established manufacturing business in Leicester to recruit a People Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This site-based role supports a busy operation. 

You'll be providing practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle, with a real focus on employee relations. This includes managing a high volume of cases—disciplinaries, grievances, performance management—and confidently coaching and supporting managers on best practice, policies, and procedures. This is a hands-on, operational role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in a business with strong values and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations matters, providing expert advice and support to managers
Manage a wide range of ER casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management
Coach and guide managers through people processes to ensure consistency and compliance
Support day-to-day HR operations and queries from employees and line managers
Help deliver group initiatives locally, including L&D, recruitment, and payroll
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to ongoing HR projects
What We're Looking For

CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience
Strong background in employee relations, with experience managing multiple complex cases
Confident in advising and coaching managers at all levels
Proactive and organised with the ability to juggle a varied workload in a fast-paced setting
Solid Microsoft Office and HRIS skills
