ADHD / Autism Assessor – London

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Neurodevelopmental Assessor to join our team in London. In this role, you will conduct high-quality assessments for individuals being evaluated for ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You’ll play a vital part in supporting timely diagnosis, ensuring individuals receive the guidance, care, and onward support they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive ADHD and/or Autism assessments for children, young people, or adults (depending on service).
• Conduct structured clinical interviews and utilise standardised diagnostic tools.
• Review relevant history, questionnaires, and collateral information.
• Produce clear, accurate, and detailed clinical reports.
• Provide professional feedback and recommendations to patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to ensure safe, person-centred care.

Requirements

• A qualified professional such as:
  • Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with relevant experience
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Speech & Language Therapist
  • Social Worker with neurodevelopmental experience
  • Or other relevant clinical background
• Experience conducting ADHD and/or Autism assessments in a clinical setting.
• Strong working knowledge of diagnostic frameworks such as DSM-5 or ICD-11.
• Excellent communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
• HCPC, NMC or appropriate professional registration (essential).
