Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? At Erskine Waterfront Campus, we are building a safe, supportive and inclusive school community where every pupil can thrive. We’re looking for an inspiring Pupil Support Coordinator to join our team.

The Role

As Pupil Support Coordinator, you will:

  • Lead and develop a dedicated team of Pupil Support Assistants
  • Ensure pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn
  • Manage daily school operations, including staff deployment and timetables
  • Support pupil wellbeing through our Relational Model of Practice
  • Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and achievement
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Take a proactive role in safeguarding, decision-making and continuous school improvement

You’ll play a vital part in shaping the culture of our school, creating an environment where staff feel supported and pupils can achieve their best.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced leader who can coach and inspire a team, remain calm and resilient under pressure, and make confident decisions even in challenging situations. You’ll bring strong skills in risk assessment and safeguarding practice, combined with clear and compassionate communication that builds positive relationships. A commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice is essential, as is team leadership experience, IT literacy, a full manual driving licence and PVG membership. A background in education, social work or the voluntary sector is desirable, as is experience with TCI or PACE, or having taken part in on-call or duty management.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £37,547 £40,824, pro rata across 39 weeks of the year but paid over 52 weeks. You will also receive a holiday allowance.
