What You'll Be Doing as a Nursing Home Manager:
As the Nursing Home Manager, you'll lead from the front-creating a positive, forward-thinking culture that brings out the best in your team and offers residents the highest standard of living.
Key Responsibilities for the Home Manager include:
- Motivate and manage a compassionate care team, leading with integrity and vision
- Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and implement clinical governance best practices
- Drive performance, occupancy, and financial success of the home
- Lead recruitment, staff retention, and training to build a strong, stable workforce
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders
- Implement continuous improvement strategies across the home
- Ensure safe working practices, robust risk management, and a thriving care environment
What We're Looking For in the Nursing Home Manager:
? A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing a large residential or nursing care service
? Strong knowledge of CQC standards and care sector regulations
? Inspirational leadership style with excellent people management skills
? Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets and occupancy targets
? A passion for building inclusive, supportive cultures where staff and residents thrive
? NMC registration is desirable but not essential
