Senior Residential Children's Worker
Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £34,400 per annum
Hours: Permanent, full-time

We are working in partnership with a provider of children's services to recruit a Senior Residential Children's Worker for their home in Warrington, Cheshire. You will be part of a dedicated team supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) within a nurturing residential environment.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead shifts and ensure the welfare and safety of young people and staff at all times.

* Participate in staff meetings and supervisions.

* Support with staff performance and ensure the team are updated on procedural changes.

* Deliver person-centred support in line with individual care plans.

* Safeguard vulnerable children and report any concerns appropriately.

* Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals.

* Ensure confidentiality and professionalism are maintained at all times.

* Be flexible to cover other homes when required.

* Commit to ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

* Experience within the children's residential care sector.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.
