Our client is looking for a Human Resources professional who is adept at navigating the complexities of personnel management, understands the nuances of organizational development, and can drive strategic initiatives to foster a positive and productive workplace environment.
Manage day-to-day HR activities including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.
Oversee and ensure timely submission of WSP and ensure adherence to all BEE requirements.
Design and implement training programs that meet the needs of the business and its employees.
Review, develop, and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices.
Handle complex disciplinary matters in conjunction with departmental managers.
Drive the performance review process and ensure timely feedback to all staff.
Engage with senior leadership and departmental managers to align HR strategies with business goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and laws to ensure company compliance.
Oversee and manage employee benefits programs and participate in compensation benchmarking exercises.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR metrics and reports to drive decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in the Manufacturing, Construction, or Mining sectors.
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with employees at all levels.
Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Capability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing business needs.
Skilled in handling disputes, negotiations, and can work towards amicable solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
Familiarity with HR software and tools.
