About the Role:

Teach engaging and inclusive English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, using creative strategies to make learning accessible to all students.
Encourage a love of literature and language while supporting students to achieve their academic potential.
Create a positive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and engagement.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an inspiring curriculum and participate in school activities to enhance the student experience.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching English across all secondary key stages (KS3-5).
A passion for English and a commitment to helping students develop a love for the subject.
A creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
