Business Development Sales Manager - Durham & Leeds

Pertemps are currently supporting our client with their search of adding an experienced Business Development Sales Manager to their team on a permanent basis who will inevitably Develop and maximise the Tanker services business from existing and new customers, increasing the tanker business, effluent tank empties & non potable water deliveries. This will be achieved via customer visits, some account management, customer entertainment and assisting with query resolution when requested.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relations by carrying out regular customer site visits, customer entertainment and providing expertise when required.

Responsibilities

+ Achieve or exceed budgeted Tanker Services revenue for your region.
+ Identify Tanker servicing opportunities within the area that requires your assistance to bring about an increase in revenue, communication with relevant ASR/RSM is vital in identifying prospects and ensuring ownership.
+ Identify new business opportunities
+ Promote all other divisions of our clients and pass on all leads to relevant divisions.
+ Attend and represent "Tanker Services" at regional sales meetings.
+ Preparation and delivery of quotations.
+ Update and maintenance of CLM system.
+ Achieve/exceed minimum sales call rate.

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the following

+ Full UK driving licence is essential as this role will require travelling between customer sites
+ A proven track record in sales, preferably field based and within Tanker Services, waste management or temporary accommodation (experience in industry desirable)
+ Significant experience in developing and winning new business within a competitive market
+ An excellent communicator with proven negotiation skills
+ Highly organised and with a strong attention to detail
+ The ability to work effectively under pressure and solve problems
