Academics are seeking a committed and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to join one of our excellent partner primary schools in Canterbury, East Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them for a successful transition to secondary education.

What you'll do as a Year 6 Teacher:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to upper KS2 learners
Prepare pupils for SATs and the move to secondary school with confidence and resilience
Create a positive, structured, and motivating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with TAs and senior leaders to support progress and wellbeing
Foster independence, critical thinking, and a love of learning
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleaguesWhat we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
Strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills
A proactive, supportive, and encouraging approach to teaching
